Wellington Housing Information
Wellington is characterized by a mixture
of new single-family homes, well-built older
homes, townhouses and new apartment complexes.
Over the past 5 years, several well-planned
subdivisions have been constructed with the
corporate owner/retiree in mind.
A number of the multiple-household units
are subsidized low-income and are elderly
units. New construction will be an ongoing
activity in order to meet the needs of the
growing population.
Wellington Housing Authority
The Wellington Housing Authority provides
housing for eligible low-income individuals
and families, through a contract with the
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The Wellington Housing Authority contracts
with the Fort Collins Housing Authority to
manage the 28 family units and 14 senior units
located in Wellington. The senior units and
a family complex are located southeast of
the Wellington Post Office and the remaining
family units are located throughout town.
For information regarding the Wellington Housing
Authority, please call 416-2910.
